My turning point was when I was 39, I had been out of an “unfavourable” marriage for a while, but still struggling to find myself again. It hit me that I wanted to be “fit and forty, not fat and forty”. I took up running, and changing my lifestyle, and way of eating. It wasn’t until 7 years later that I realized that my running training needed more. More weights. More strength. More social interaction. My husband and I joined CrossFit in November 2016, and I haven’t looked back! The community at Panda Performance Lab was exactly what I needed, both physically, and emotionally. The knowledge, of the coaches, and support from them and fellow members was mind blowing!
